In Their Words: Rocky Ferrell

Living on Speedway Boulevard, an area that encompasses Tanque Verde Unified School District, for nearly thirty years, has been and continues to be a joy!

Services including hospitals, restaurants, entertainment and shopping, are convenient while the "rural living style" is prevalent.

Maintaining our environment and investment as it has been for many years is a priority most residents favor and support.

Quality schools are key to strengthen our Quality Neighborhood and our Rural Living Style.

As long as our schools perform in the manner that has resulted in the very high rate of graduating students attending Universities, there will be a demand to live in our rural setting.

Funding our existing Quality Schools is important in keeping our unique rural life style and firm property values.

Therefore, I support and will vote for this override proposition.

In Their Words is a series in which we share letters written in support of the Budget Override and Bond ballot measures. These letters will appear in the Voter Information Packet provided by Pima County to voters. We will also include original missives by members of the Tanque Verde community.
